Ukrainian crypto influencer found dead in Lamborghini after $18B market crash

A 32-year-old Ukrainian crypto trader was found dead in his Lamborghini in Kyiv on Oct. 11, a day after a market crash wiped out more than US$18 billion in value.

Police identified the man as Konstantin Galich, also known by the pseudonym Konstantin Kudo, a well-known figure in Ukraine’s cryptocurrency community and co-founder of the Cryptology Key trading academy. Authorities said he was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head, and a firearm registered in his name was found at the scene, Mothership reported.

According to Kyiv police, Galich had told relatives the day before that he was “feeling depressed” due to severe financial troubles and had sent them a farewell message, the Daily Mail reported.

Binance Square said that he may have lost around $30 million of investors’ money in the crash.

Investigators are treating his death as suspicious and are still determining whether it was suicide or foul play.

Galich’s death has also been announced on his Telegram channel. “Konstantin Kudo tragically passed away. The cause is being determined. We will update you on any further news,” the post read, the Economic Times reported.

His death came after the $18 billion crypto liquidation that followed US President Donald Trump’s announcement of 100% tariffs on Chinese imports on October 10th.
