The public and media in Serbia have Trump’s posts about the alleged US election fraud on their radar

On Tuesday, during one of his nightly posting blitzes, US President Donald Trump shared an X post on his social network “Truth Social”, stating that Elon Musk prevented the rigging of the results of the 2024 US presidential election by disabling the computers of the Dominion Voting Systems company in Serbia.

Donald Trump Truth Social Elon Musk saving the 2024 election from being stolen by tracking down in Serbia the IP addresses of computerized machines that would have altered votes, and rendering them useless Dominion
No, I don’t have a Truth Social account, because I don’t do drugs

As “proof”, Trump presented the X posts of well-known peddlers of such nonsense associated with the MAGA disinfo, Johnny St.Pete and Emerald Robinson (fired from Newsmax for spreading COVID-19 conspiracy theories).

So here’s how the story goes: Rehashing Patrick M. Byrne’s previous claims, the key role in the election fraud was played by the voting and vote-counting machines of the company Dominion Voting System and the Smartmatic software, both in 2020 and 2024.

The Dominion Voting System is controlled and owned by individuals and companies from abroad, and control over the data that it handles is lost once they leave the US. Electronic information from voting and vote-counting machines from the USA went to Germany, Barcelona, Serbia, and Canada during the 2020 elections, where they were manipulated, and the changed data was returned to the USA.

But the intrepid Elon Musk stopped it by tracking the IP addresses and “disabled their computers”, because he be like that.

Such claims have already been debunked, and even Grok will spit that out.

Yeah, they keep mentioning Soros. A lot. Of course they do, who else?

Dominion has subsidiary companies for software development in the USA, Canada, and Serbia. The company has been present on the Serbian market since 2011.

The US website StolenElectionsFacts “discovered” that Dominion opened its data center in Belgrade through the Serbian company Roaming Networks, also known as Dot Networks, which also operates on the American market, stating also that the main clients of Roaming Networks in Serbia are large state companies such as Telekom Srbija, EPS (state electric energy company), Elektromreža Srbije (Serbian national transmission system operator), as well as the Bank of China.

The Serbian media, such as N1, did pick up on this whole jazz, and some, along with the general public, are treating it as a fact set in stone (oh, yeah), which will most likely be used in the internal political arena. There are already headlines like “Vučić in trouble: Trump linked Serbia to the attempt to rig the presidential elections in the USA.”

As usual, Trump & Co. claims are based on nothing – just a rehash of an old lie, that already cost the US the infamy of the January 6th insurrection.
