The student and civic protesters, who represent the third, latest manifestation of Serbian alt-right populist sentiment, following the one that gave rise to Slobodan Milošević in the late 1980s and the second one that returned Aleksandar Vučić to power in 2012, are now getting a dose of reality with the opposition parties taking back the forefront from pro-Russian extremists.

Republic of desolate minds

Both the government and the protesters in Serbia held their vile and manipulative commemorations of Croatian military-police Operation Storm, which comes as a very neat deflection from actual problems plaguing the Serbian failed state, such as a rapidly shrinking workforce, appalling pollution, and food products meant for export flavored with health hazards.
